A Six Bedroom Tudor Farmhouse

Spend some time with family and friends in the historic Grade 2 listed farmhouse with huge open fires hosting an eclectic mix of antiques and quirky finds. Six bedrooms, four doubles plus two twins some featuring roll top baths and vanity sinks. A games room, kitchen and adjoining garden room with rear boot and utility room for muddy wellies and provision storage. The one acre garden wraps around the house with both private and open vistas to the sourrounding countryside.

Local Pub - The Alma

At the end of our lane a friendly family run Kentish Ale House serving home-cooked meals and serving Shepherds Neame beers and ales. The landlord Richard is a wealth of local knowledge and gossip if truth be told.

The Locality

The historic town of Faversham lies one mile to the north with its ancient streets and plentiful cafes, pubs, market and quirky shops. Whitstable famed for its Oysters and Sunsets lies just ten miles along the coast and the World Heritage City of Canterbury is not too far away at all.

Focus on Yourself

Plentiful walks directly from the Farmhouse into the Kent Downs or stroll down through the churchyard to Faversham Town and beyond to the Nature Reserve at Oare Marshes. Local riding stables just along the way, take a dip in the briny at Seasalter or onwards to Whitstable. Shop till you drop in the bustle of Canterbury.

Parking

There is parking for four vehicles available, however we can always find room on the farm for any additional ones just mention before arrival.

Electric Vehicle charging point just along the lane on the wall of the village hall next to The Alma Pub.

Invite Additional Friends to stay in the Cherry Orchard Campsite

We have a small family based campsite spread over two acres of cherry orchard, with shower blocks, laundry and dishwashing stations. www.paintersfarm.co.uk

Although not party central - we are happy to host small family gatherings for special occasions, engagement parties, birthdays, christenings - please just reach out and outline your intentions for the special day and we will do our utmost to accomodate.
